Of Design, Quality and Respect in Business

Design is my passion. Creating is what keeps me moving forward every single day. Every product I design must embody two non-negotiable: good quality and good design. These are the pillars of my work, and they are the reason I started this journey in the first place. Yesterday, I came across a sentence that resonated deeply with me:

“Don’t lower your prices to fit someone else’s budget. If they can’t afford your prices, that’s okay, they are not your client.”

So true. Behind every product you see is hours of work, countless decisions, sleepless nights, and relentless dedication. What we create is more than a product, it’s the result of passion, craftsmanship, and commitment. Of course, there are moments when projects get canceled, even after we’ve poured our heart into them. That’s part of business. But I believe it’s also part of good business for customers to remember to value the work, appreciate the process, and treat creators with respect and kindness.

To my fellow entrepreneurs, designers, and creators:

Hold on to your standards. Protect your passion. Your prices reflect your dedication, your skill, and the quality you stand for and that’s something worth honoring.
